“Whispering” Bob Harris OBE is broadcasting royalty, with a decades-spanning career encompassing TV’s “Old Grey Whistle Test”, BBC Radio 2’s Country Show and much more.
Lesser known is his passion for football and his team North London FC, the most successful football club in the history of the Premier League. There’s just one issue: the team only exists in Bob Harris’ head. For over 35 years, the broadcasting legend has managed his line-up, built stadiums and training grounds and kept records of every single match played. Now, for the first time, Bob and his son Miles are revisiting 35 years of fantasy football history (as well as their own family stories) in their new podcast A Game Of No Halves.
Miles Myerscough-Harris runs the highly successful Expired Film Club, which specialises in shooting sport and music on retro film cameras, and has recently worked with the likes of Manchester United, Real Madrid, England Football Team, Glass Animals and more.
Miles has built a huge social media following and a recent post by him on X about his dad’s football “management” and North London FC garnered over 2.5 million views and sent A Game Of No Halves shooting towards the top of the charts (https://twitter.com/expiredfilmclub/status/1803430086785278331)
The podcast has hit the Top 20 on Apple and Spotify’s Sports podcast charts, and the Top 200 of Spotify’s Top Podcasts chart. This surpasses the official Premier League Fantasy Football Podcast, The Sky Sports Football Podcast (fronted by Gary Neville, Jamie Redknapp and Jamie Carragher), Sky Sports F1 Podcast, Formula 1’s official Beyond The Grid podcast and more.

Miles added: “It’s so much fun to bring my dad’s crazy, fictitious football team to the world.
