The signing marks the start of the UK leg of Walker’s 19-date European tour. Currently in Norway, Walker will continue through SwedenDenmark and Germany before bringing the tour to a close at the end of the month with UK and Ireland dates in LondonManchesterGlasgow and Dublin.

One of the most acclaimed voices in contemporary Americana, Walker has earned widespread praise for songwriting that combines wit, vulnerability and emotional precision. His latest album, Ain’t Dead Yet, arrives in the wake of an extraordinary few years. While revisiting and reworking the songs for the record, Walker was undergoing treatment for colon cancer – a diagnosis he had not yet received when many of the songs were first written. Now cancer-free, the album has taken on an unexpectedly profound resonance, becoming both a reflection on mortality and a celebration of survival.

The album has already been met with critical acclaim, with Maximum Volume Music noting that the record “might have been written before Walker knew what he was fighting, but it sounds like a victory all the same,” while Country Music People praised Walker’s distinctive vocal delivery, describing his voice as “a caressing drawl that’s always been wistful yet can ascend and tower.”

Released via East Dallas Records / Thirty Tigers, Ain’t Dead Yet is available to stream and download here.

Alongside his recovery, Walker began documenting his health journey through his Instagram account, 400days.to.400lbs. What began as a personal accountability project has grown into a community of more than 470,000 followers, with Walker candidly sharing the realities of cancer treatment, weight loss, rebuilding his health and returning to life as a touring musician. His openness has resonated with thousands of people navigating their own challenges.

Walker documented his cancer journey in his new documentary Thank You For Listening, which premiered at the Raindance Film Festival in London at the end of June. The film follows Walker through his cancer treatment and documents his determination to return to performing, culminating in a deeply emotional return to the Grand Ole Opry. It’s an intimate portrait of an artist confronting mortality, identity and what remains when the music stops.
