ABOUT WADE BOWEN:
Two decades and more than 4,000 shows into his career, Wade Bowen is one of the most respected voices in Texas country and Red Dirt music. A contemporary of artists like Miranda Lambert, Cody Johnson, and Casey Donahew, Bowen has helped shape the modern Texas music landscape while continuing to carry it forward. In 2025, he earned five Texas Regional Radio Music (T3R) Awards, including Male Vocalist of the Year and Single of the Year for the third consecutive year.
A landmark 2026 is in store for Bowen, who will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Lost Hotel with a deluxe release of his career-defining album in November, as well as release his 11th studio album, The Version of Me You Get, on September 25. “Overall, sonically, I think this record is a change of pace. I think it’s rootsy. It has some grit and rock edges to it,” Bowen says of the record, which may be his most revealing statement yet in a career built around honesty. With eleven studio albums, multiple live records, and 36 #1 Texas radio songs, Bowen continues to evolve while staying grounded in Texas roots. Performing more than 200 shows annually with his band, Bowen remains committed to building his career the same way he always has; through standout songs, a powerful live show, and the kind of staying power that only comes from years on the stage.
