Kaylee Bell is an award-winning New Zealand country artist who has built a truly global career from her hometown of Waimate. Bell will be returning to the UK this November to support The Shires on their 13-date UK tour including shows in London, Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow.
Holding the title of Australasia’s Most Streamed Female Country Artist for five consecutive years, Bell has amassed more than 100 million catalogue streams and has shared stages with the likes of Ed Sheeran, Keith Urban and Kane Brown. Her international breakthrough came with ‘Keith’, her viral tribute to Keith Urban, which has now surpassed 30 million Spotify streams and 60 million TikTok views, while in 2023 she became the only New Zealand artist to win a CMA Award, taking home the Jeff Walker Global Country Music Artist Award in Nashville.
It’s been another huge year for Bell. Earlier this year Bell performed at the 37,000 strong sold-out Once In A Lifetime concert – the first ever show at Christchurch’s One New Zealand Stadium. She was also inducted into the NZ Gold Guitar Awards Hands of Fame, one of the most significant honours in New Zealand country music, recognising her contribution to the genre. She also received five Aotearoa Music Awards nominations, including Album of the Year and Best Country Artist, and in June became the first female artist from Australia or New Zealand to be featured on the CMA Close Up Stage, appearing at CMA Fest in Nashville for a special discussion hosted by Apple Music Country’s Ty Bentli.
Bell’s recent achievements build on an extraordinary run of success. Her NZ Gold-certified single ‘Boots N All’ reached #1 on the NZ Hot Singles Chart and led to her first headline New Zealand tour, selling more than 10,000 tickets across 17 dates. Her album Nights Like This debuted at #1 on the New Zealand Album Chart, while her 2025 album Cowboy Up debuted at #2 on the Aotearoa Top 20 Album Chart. She has also performed to huge audiences at Australia’s CMC Rocks, the country’s premier country music festivals.
Bell has recently released her new single ‘Me For Me‘, a track about waiting for the right person rather than settling for less, which she co-wrote with Phoebe Jasper and Tom Jordan.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the track, Bell says: “We wrote it over summer while Phoebe was back from London, where she is a full-time songwriter, and Tom was back from Nashville. We wanted to write a love song about waiting for your person so that you’re not settling for less. It’s basically about finding your person later in life after waiting, something a lot of my friends and women I know can relate to. It’s that age-old story that, these days, you’re better off being on your own than settling and ending up disappointed.”
Bell is now heading back to the UK this November, supporting The Shires across 13 dates including The Palladium in London, Bridgewater Hall in Manchester, Symphony Hall in Birmingham and Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. Full dates below.
