Nashville singer-songwriter, Apple Music Country radio host, and full-blown Renaissance man Fancy Hagood will return to UK and European shores next month, with six headline shows across the UK, and a two-night appearance at Nashville Nights in Denmark. First Time Flyers and Sammy Harrison will support for the UK portion of his return.
The tour comes as Hagood enters a major new chapter, following the surprise release of his new EP Baby Jake – featuring originals ‘Love Me Back’ and ‘To The Moon’, plus a bluegrass-tinged take on the Spice Girls’ ‘Say You’ll Be There‘.
Fancy first arrived in Nashville at age 17 with the dream of becoming an openly queer country artist, and over the past decade he’s built a reputation as one of the genre’s most charismatic and boundary-pushing voices. His critically acclaimed releases include 2021’s Southern Curiosity and the 2024 follow-up American Spirit, which featured collaborations with Michelle Branch and Nickel Creek’s Sean and Sara Watkins.
He has earned wide acclaim, with Brandi Carlile naming him an “artist to watch” and Elton John declaring, “We need more people like Fancy.”
Having closed last year with a run of UK and European dates opening for Ivor Novello Award winner and multiple Brit Award nominee CMAT, Hagood recently launched his new Apple Country Radio show FANCY after four years hosting Trailblazers Radio.
