“Some of the prettiest music you will ever hear” – God Is In The TV
“Just beautiful” – BBC Introducing
Leicester-based Mountaintop Junkshop have announced a string of intimate UK dates this autumn in support of their album Misadventureland, released earlier this year. The tour follows the success of singles “Holy Hell” and “I’m Still Looking For The Light”, which garnered widespread critical acclaim and BBC Introducing airplay.
Blurring the lines between alt-country, lo-fi Americana, and poetic indie-folk, Mountaintop Junkshop craft country-tinged minimal torch songs — stripped back and haunting, the kind that let you hear pins drop and hearts break.
Touring October–November 2025, the band will bring their raw and fragile sound to venues across the UK, with live shows promising an atmospheric, soul-stirring experience that’s already earned them comparisons to Low, Mazzy Star, and Songs: Ohia.

25th August Coventry The Tin W/ Ryan Davis & The Roadhouse Band
21st Sept, September Song Festival Oxfordshire

(More dates to be announced)
ABOUT MOUNTAINTOP JUNKSHOP:
Hailing from Leicester, UK, Mountaintop Junkshop could easily be mistaken for alt-country misfits from a lost California scene. Their songs sound like they belong next to a red wine-stained, yellowing Frank Stanford poetry collection — timeless, intimate, and evocative. Signed to the California label Twin Star.
They’ve shared stages with the likes of Jolie Holland, Herman Dune, Ronnie Lane’s Slim Chance, and Nina Nastasia, quietly building a devoted following.
LINE-UP:
Jon Bennett – Vocals/Guitar
Amy Cooper – Vocals/Keys
David Fellows – Bass
Natasha Pattinson – Violin
Katie Shields – Drums
NEW ALBUM: MISADVENTURELAND
Released: April 2025
A record of bittersweet beauty and lyrical depth, Misadventureland is a collection of songs about addiction, love, and the chaotic joy of being human. It cements Mountaintop Junkshop as a distinctive new voice in the UK’s growing Americana scene.
“A world where misadventure and mistakes pave the way to unexpected beauty, life lessons, and freedom.”
