Rising stars of the UK country music scene, Savannah Gardner & The Recovering Good Girls have announced that their next single “Born In The Wrong Generation” will be available to stream /download in all the usual places on 10th July, pre-save here https://li.sten.to/borninthewronggeneration

A solo write by Californian-born Savannah, she explains the inspiration behind it and I think it’s something that many of us can relate to….

“Sometimes I dream I’m a recording artist at Sun Studios in Memphis, getting my start along with Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash. Other times I imagine I’m at Woodstock singing along to Janis Joplin’s “Ball and Chain” and The Who’s “My Generation”.  I look around at my friends in their fringe jackets, western shirts & rockabilly outfits and know they feel the same. Maybe we were born in the wrong generation?”

Recorded at Spiritual Records in Camden, as well as Savannah on guitar/vocals it features band members Riley Hare on bass, Carmen Ruiz Vicente on drums with producer Jack Trouble on an array of other instruments! Mixing/mastering credits go to Wayne Proctor .

The fan-favourite song has been a staple of their live set for some time now and with its catchy, singalong chorus is the perfect Summer release ahead of the band’s ever-busy schedule in the coming months.
