A hauntingly raw and powerful ballad, Does She Know delves into the turmoil of being the other woman, inspired by the psychological thriller Behind Her Eyes. As she penned the song, Emilia fully immersed herself in the protagonist’s perspective, delivering a gut-wrenching narrative of guilt, betrayal, and heartbreak. “I took the idea of being the other woman questioning the lover, lamenting on her role in betraying her friend, and ran with it as a theme,” Emilia explains. “I wanted to demonstrate her pain and create an alternative perspective in the genre of cheating songs.” With captivating melodies, emotionally charged lyricism, and Emilia’s signature gritty vocals, Does She Know is set to leave a lasting impact on listeners, cementing her reputation as a compelling voice in the Americana and Blues/Rock scenes.
