SHABOOZEY’S ACCLAIMED ALBUM ‘WHERE I’VE BEEN ISN’T WHERE I’M GOING’ OUT NOW.
2024 has been the year of Shaboozey, and as the star dominated our airwaves, he is now set to make his highly anticipated UK, one-night-only headline debut at London’s renowned KOKO, on Wednesday, 19th March 2025.
The announcement comes hot on the heels of Shaboozey’s incomparable rise in the UK this year, marked by chart-topping success and acclaim with summer hit ‘A Bar Song (Tipsy)’ followed by his third studio album ‘Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going’. ‘A Bar Song (Tipsy)’ was an instant global hit, achieving remarkable milestones; it was certified platinum and topped the charts, including an 8 week run at No. 1 on the UK Radio Airplay, 5 weeks at No. 1 on The Big Top 40, and an impressive 18 weeks at No. 1 on the Official Independent Singles chart. The song’s popularity has been further amplified by remixes from illustrious DJs David Guetta and Alesso, expanding its reach across the dance and alternative genres, too. Shaboozey’s impact extends beyond his singles, with his album ‘Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going’, peaking at No. 2 on the OCC Official Country Artists Album Chart, solidifying his position as a rising star in the UK, and global, country music scene.
Shaboozey made his UK live debut at Capital FM’s Summertime Ball at Wembley Stadium for a surprise performance in June, impressing the 80,000-strong audience in attendance. His popularity in the UK was further cemented by his growing media presence, with Holler describing his music as “A creatively diverse cocktail unlike anything in country music today…“. Adding to this impressive list of achievements, Shaboozey recently collaborated with the one and only Beyoncé on two tracks (‘Sweet*Honey*Buckiin’ & ‘Spaghettii’) on her globally acclaimed ‘COWBOY CARTER’ album, solidifying his status as one of music’s most exciting new talents.
His headline show at KOKO is set to be a foot-stomping, hat-waving hoedown, where his bustling fanbase can come together and celebrate his incredible discography.
Shaboozey’s album, ‘Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going’, is out now.

ABOUT SHABOOZEY:
Shaboozey is building his own world, carving his lane in the alternative country and hip-hop space. Born to parents of Nigerian descent and raised in Virginia, the multi-faceted artist grew up on an eclectic mix of music encompassing classic hip-hop and R&B, to country and blues icons like Johnny Cash, Kenny Rogers, Garth Brooks, and Lead Belly, to master lyricists such as Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen.
A true crossover artist, he began his epic rise to stardom with two standout features on Beyoncé’s ‘COWBOY CARTER’—the only artist with multiple appearances on the album. His latest body of work, the critically acclaimed album ‘Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going’, debuted in the top five of the Billboard 200, and the album’s smash single ‘A Bar Song (Tipsy)’ has achieved 4X RIAA-platinum certification, and holds the longest reign of 2024 at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The single has accumulated over a billion streams globally, propelled him into mainstream stardom, cemented itself as 2024’s song of the summer, and made history with Beyoncé’s ‘TEXAS HOLD ‘EM’, as the first Black artists to score back-to-back leaders on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart.
Remaining true to his Virginia roots, Shaboozey hopes to continue the region’s long-standing tradition of producing some of the most prolific creatives of the new millennium. This time through elevating the scope of contemporary hip-hop and introducing a modern Americana culture to a global audience.
