BY LESLEY HASTINGS
Anglo/Austrian country-rock duo Two Ways Home (Lewis Fowler and Isabella “Isi” MaK), known for their signature close harmony sound and catchy melody writing, are set to release their new single “Feet on the Asphalt” on the 2nd of June. Described by the pair as “a fun summer anthem that you can sing along to when your getting ready to go out, or put on in the car when you’re driving around in the sun” the song is about running headlong into a new romantic encounter and taking that leap of faith after you thought you’d never find someone. Lewis takes lead vocals initially, singing of his frustrated loneliness, before the duo’s voices blend beautifully and the song swells into an optimistic chorus. Look out for the accompanying fun video coming soon too…..featuring sock puppets apparently!
After finishing their near sold out Round Up tour of 11 dates across the UK, the pair are showing no signs of slowing, and are playing an intimate headline show at the prestigious Green Note venue in London on the 8th of June along with a run of impressive festival dates including Black Deer and The Long Road.
