Wilson Scores Six Nominations, Including the Coveted Album of The Year and Female Artist of The Year
Multi-award-winning singer and songwriter Lainey Wilson has been announced as the leading female nominee, and second overall nominated artist for the 2023 Academy of Country Music Awards with a staggering six nominations. As reigning New Female Artist and Song of The Year winner, this year, Wilson is up for:

Song of the Year: “wait in the truck” with HARDY

While Wilson adds to her growing list of No.1 hits, including platinum-certified “Things A Man Oughta Know”, “Never Say Never” with Cole Swindell, and most recently “Heart Like A Truck”, her latest collaboration with HARDY “wait in the truck” continues to climb the US charts, currently sitting in the top 5. Already this year, Wilson sold out her first headlining 28-date “Country With A Flare” tour, was honoured as Billboard Women in Music’s 2023 “Rulebreaker,” and started touring stadiums with Luke Combs as support on the US leg of his World Tour.
