RECORDS Nashville singer/songwriter George Birge releases a brand-new track, “Cowboys Talkin’” out now.  Written by George with Josh Mirenda and Gary Garris and produced by Ash Bowers, the song is the first of a busy slate of new music expected in the coming months. LISTEN HERE .
 
“I wanted to write a love song with some edge, a little rock with a little Texas storytelling,” says Birge of the inspiration behind the new song.  “Once I had that first line, ‘over a beer and under a Stetson’ I knew we were onto something special!” 
 
In addition to releasing the brand-new track, George ALSO just dropped an awesome new video for song as well. Shot in Nashville by Midtown Motion at NOZ Entertainment, the video features stunning modern visuals, as well as George’s signature high energy performances.  WATCH THE VIDEO HERE.
 
George has had an incredible 2022. He recently made his solo Grand Ole Opry debut (which included an introduction by Opry member Jamey Johnson), he collaborated with on of his heroes, Neal McCoy with the release of  That Drink,” a re-imagination “Wink,” and his current single Mind On You” – which has over 9 million streams – landed him the No. 1 most-added song at Country radio.
 
George currently has over 28 million streams across his catalog to date. His self-titled debut solo EP, which “mixes classic steel and modern programming beneath smooth Keith Urban-like phrasing and melodicism” (Billboard), features 5 tracks, 4 of which George co-wrote. The EP includes the singer/songwriter’s debut smash hit Beer Beer, Truck Truck,” which quickly went viral not long after joining TikTok, where he now has over 200K followers. George has been featured in NPR All Things ConsideredPeople.com, American Songwriter Taste Of Country, and named one of Nashville Lifestyles’ “Artists You Need To Know.”
