“She delivers in spades on every song with a style that’s a bit pop, a bit rock, a lot of blues and one hundred percent country”. – Louder Than War

“A fun loving, crowd pleasing band who thrive on live performance and tour life”. – Maverick Magazine

“Jessica straddles the line between authentic struggle and observational wit really well, creating something relatable and relevant”. – Belles and Gals

She’s back in town in time for Christmas, and Jessica Clemmons couldn’t be more excited to bring her intimate ‘Carols by Candlelight’ tour to the UK in November. Having teased audiences with a few live dates in May, including a headline appearance at March Into Pitlochry Festival, Jess is rounding up her bandits for a string of festive dates commencing on 28th November in Manchester and wrapping in Chelmsford on 13th December.

“The UK is like a second home for me, and as for many of us, the last couple of years have been tough. I’m so excited to get back to doing what I love the most… but this time with a sprinkle of Christmas thrown in the mix” – Jess Clemmons

To add to the excitement, Jess is releasing brand new single ‘Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree’ at the end of November. The single, recorded in her home city of Houston, Texas is a dual release and also includes bonus track ‘White Christmas’, featuring Joshua David Green on keys.

“Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree is one of my all time favourites. It’s one of those ‘drop everything and get up and dance’ type of songs, and I think the added slice of country makes it even more so… With White Christmas, I wanted to slow things down again. This actually isn’t an official recording, Josh and I recorded it a couple of years ago and it has been gathering dust in a folder. I realised how much I loved this version and had to get it out there…”

Jess and the Bandits first formed in 2014, racking up multiple BBC Radio 2 playlists with an acclaimed performance of Wichita Lineman on Terry Wogan’s BBC Sunday Sessions.   Beyond the airwaves, they have appeared on ITV’s Lorraine, Aled Jones’ Weekend, Channel Five’s The Wright Stuff and Sky’s Sunrise show. They signed an endorsement deal with high-street retailers ‘Evans’ and debuted the feel-good single ‘Nitty Gritty’ in The Independent newspaper. Jess and the Bandit’s sophomore album ‘Smoke & Mirrors’ debuted at #1 in the UK Country Music Chart, and the band went on to perform at festivals such as Country 2 Country, Cornbury, The Isle of Wight, The Long Road, Black Deer Festival, Nashville Meets London and Buckle and Boots.

The band took a hiatus in 2019 when Jess took some time to start a family with new husband and photographer Chris Peavey. Last year they welcomed their second son, and though life as a working Mom has its challenges, Jess has spoken candidly on social media about her desire to get back to the UK and ‘“find herself again”. Her winter tour couldn’t come at a better time for Jess and the army of fans who flock to see the lively country-rock band in action.

“I need to get back and let my hair down… and I think my British friends and fans could all do the same. I hope to see you all there…”
