Born in Dallas, but based in Oklahoma, Corey Kent has developed a reputation as one of country’s most promising voices. His debut album, Blacktop, nods back to his many miles driving on the blacktop to forge his craft and build his audience, as well as the blacktop he paved while working in a pavement company just 18 months ago, and the blacktop he’ll drive on to keep chasing his calling.
