LIFETIME-IN-THE-MAKING ALBUM DEBUT FOLLOWS FIRST GRAND OLE OPRY APPEARANCE
After a monumental summer, Big Loud Records rising star Larry Fleet marks another career high point today, releasing his full-length album debut, STACK OF RECORDS.
A lifetime-in-the-making project co-written entirely by the Tennessee native himself, the project drops the needle on a charismatic baritone and eclectic fusion of Country, Southern Rock and Soul, with 14 tracks and star-studded collaborations featuring Jon Pardi, Jamey Johnson and Bryan Sutton. Shaped and inspired by the record collection Fleet grew up with, STACK OF RECORDS was produced by chart-topping studio ace Joey Moi and finds a new Country maverick stepping fully into the spotlight.
“To be able to create this music with some of the best songwriters and producer in Nashville is amazing,” says Fleet. “To see our stories come to life is an incredible feeling that I’m sure won’t be going away anytime soon. I want these songs to be like I wrote them for whoever is listening; like they are living it. Every one of these songs tells a story and that’s what I want to come across in my music is the storytelling. If your words touch somebody and change a life, that’s what you want as a songwriter. I’m grateful for the chance to able to do this for a living and hope this is just the start.”

Leading up to its release, Fleet has been turning heads all summer. He shared a series of songs off the album – including the coming-of-age anthem, “Heart On My Sleeve;” the all-American “Lifetime Guarantee;” the grooving title track to STACK OF RECORDS and a romantic blast of rural R&B, “Different Shade of Red” – and those all joined the spiritually charged Country Soul of “Where I Find God.”
Released in early 2020, “Where I Find God” has supercharged Fleet’s career by racking up more than 34 million on-demand streams, while its official video has been viewed nearly 19 million times and counting on YouTube.
Meanwhile, the album release and growing platform follow more major milestones, with good times yet to come.
Last week (17/9), Fleet realised a lifelong dream with his debut on the historic Grand Ole Opry – bringing his family along for the moment – and today (24/9) also marks the release of Fleet’s contribution to the groundbreaking HIXTAPE: Vol 2 album, joining Jon Pardi for the swaying collab, “In Love With My Problems.”
Up ahead, Fleet will take the stage Sunday (26/9) at Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival in Franklin, Tennessee, joining a diverse lineup headlined by Dave Matthews Band, The Black Keys, Maren Morris, and Cage The Elephant, and he’ll finish out the year on tour with coast-to-coast dates through November, with more details and tickets available HERE.
ABOUT LARRY FLEET:
Blue-collar, Tennessee native Larry Fleet grew up with a love of music sparked by an eclectic mix of influences spanning from Merle Haggard to Marvin Gaye. To make ends meet, Fleet spent tireless hours working construction jobs – never losing his dream of making music. A chance encounter with Jake Owen in 2017 led to a collaborative friendship and an opening slot on the road with Owen. Not long after, Fleet was sharing the stage with a living legend and one of his heroes – Willie Nelson – and etching his mark in the Nashville songwriting community co-writing with esteemed tunesmiths including Rhett Akins, Brett James and Kendell Marvel. The hard-working family man is now turning heads with “Where I Find God” – a powerful ode to finding peace in the higher power’s presence. Garnering Fleet praise for his “emotive vocals” (Billboard), the song’s official music video continues to resonate with fans, amassing 19 MILLION+ YouTube views. “Where I Find God” follows the release of Fleet’s aptly-titled debut on Big Loud Records, WORKIN’ HARD. On September 24th, Fleet unveils his brand-new, full-length album, STACK OF RECORDS, produced by studio ace Joey Moi.
