Great news from over the Pond as Jameson Rodgers’ single “Cold Beer Calling My Name”, featuring label mate Luke Combs, has made it to the U.S. Top 5! Not only that, the official video is hurtling towards an impressive two and a half million views! The track is available to stream and download and is taken from Rodgers’ debut album “Bet You’re From a Small Town” – which is out now.
“Cold Beer Calling My Name” Official Video:
Rodgers co-wrote 14 of the 15 tracks on “Bet You’re From a Small Town”, including “Cold Beer Calling My Name,” his Platinum-certified, No. 1 debut single “Some Girls”, fan favourites “Good Dogs,” “Desert,” “Missing One,” and “Girls that Smoke.” The album follows Rodgers’ EP “In It For the Money”, which arrived earlier this year to stellar reviews, as Country Swag declared it “the perfect record to solidify his much-earned place in country music.”
For Rodgers, the realisation of releasing his debut album, and witnessing its enthusiastic reception, has been a dream come true. He says, “For years, I’ve flipped through liner notes on albums and read through their credits and thank-yous ..I got to do that with my own debut album, and it was absolutely surreal,” said Rodgers. “I moved to Nashville in 2010 and these 15 songs represent the past 11 years. It comes from my soul…”
Rodgers is currently on his extended date “COLD BEER CALLING MY NAME” TOUR 2021. Check out the full dates on the Tour section of his website HERE.
