LONDON, UK – (Weds 16th Jan, 2019) – One of the most exciting new international acts in country music, Holloway Road, have announced the second single from their latest EP Broke will be ‘Get The Girl’, with a brand new radio edit available to stream/download on 8th February. Co-written with Phil Barton (Dustin Lynch, Catherine McGrath, Lee Brice) & Brian White (Jason Aldean, Rascal Flatts, High Valley), the new release kicks off 2019 following a hugely successful year for the duo, with festival appearances including C2C, The Long Road, Bestival, Carfest, Nashville Meets London, and many more. Last week they were announced as the direct support for Lauren Alaina‘s debut UK appearance in July, with more tour dates to be announced in the coming weeks.

On their choice of single, Jack & Rob said: “We are so excited to be dropping this tune. As soon as we sat down with Phil and Brian in Nashville to write, we knew we were onto something awesome! It became a fan favourite at all the festivals last summer, and we love playing it live. It just made so much sense to release this one, and we’ve freshened it up with a radio edit for the new year.”

In addition to the radio edit landing on 8th February, Holloway Road will release an exclusive video of live footage from their packed London NYE 2018 headline show later today (6pm GMT / 12pm CST) – fans can watch the premiere via the band’s Youtube channel here:

ABOUT HOLLOWAY ROAD:
Holloway Road – Jack Cooper & Rob Gulston – are one of the most exciting new duos in country-pop music, having enjoyed extensive radio support from the BBC, Chris Country and Downtown Radio in the UK, and WSM-AM in the USA; over half a million streams for their music to date; and sharing stages with the likes of The Shires, Lindsay Ell, American Young and more, as well as numerous major festival appearances including AEG’s high profile Country to Country & Country Music Week events and the first ever The Long Road Festival. National media coverage to date has included Vice, Country Music Magazine, Maverick, and The Daily Mail (“an impressive set for a huge mob of fans…”), and with growing support from fans worldwide and three iTunes Top Five EPs to date, success in a growing international country scene increasingly looks like an inevitable part of the Holloway Road story. Late in 2017 the duo completed their first full band headline tour, documented in the video for standalone single ‘Under Cover’ and in part inspiring the follow up track ‘No Place’ about the experience of being an artist on the road; and during the summer of 2018 they returned to Nashville to write for their third EP ‘Broke’, which is available to stream/download now, with a huge response from fans and over 100k streams within the first few weeks of release.
