Ferris & Sylvester

Burning River’ is the first taste of a brand new project from Ferris & Sylvester, inspired by the pair’s recent writing trips to Iceland.

It was produced by Michael Rendall (Pink Floyd, Paul McCartney, Echo & The Bunnymen) and pulls together Icelandic chants, captivating percussion, blues guitars and the pair’s beautiful harmonies. You can listen to it on Spotify and Soundcloud.

The song has had great early support from the likes of BBC Introducing, The Independent and Spotify who have included in in a number of their high profile playlists including ‘New Music Friday’.

‘Burning River’ is the first new track to follow from the duo’s highly acclaimed Made In Streatham EP released earlier this year. Upon release the Made In Streatham EP topped the iTunes Singer-Songwriter Chart, clocked up millions of plays on Spotify and has been receiving great radio support from Radio 2, BBC 6Music and BBC Introducing. The stand out single ‘London’s Blues’ reached the Spotify UK Viral Chart Top 20.

Ferris & Sylvester are also prolific names on the live scene. They have played massive shows in support of the likes of Eric Clapton, Robert Plant, George Ezra, Tom Odell, Gary Barlow, James Blunt and more. They’ve also played major festivals including BST Hyde Park and the main stage at Wilderness Festival among many others.

They’re just finishing off a UK tour with Lucy Spraggan and then setting out on a headline tour with BBC Introducing next month. They also have a number of further support dates in November. You can find their current tour dates here.
