Burning River’ is the first taste of a brand new project from Ferris & Sylvester, inspired by the pair’s recent writing trips to Iceland.
It was produced by Michael Rendall (Pink Floyd, Paul McCartney, Echo & The Bunnymen) and pulls together Icelandic chants, captivating percussion, blues guitars and the pair’s beautiful harmonies. You can listen to it on Spotify and Soundcloud.
The song has had great early support from the likes of BBC Introducing, The Independent and Spotify who have included in in a number of their high profile playlists including ‘New Music Friday’.
‘Burning River’ is the first new track to follow from the duo’s highly acclaimed Made In Streatham EP released earlier this year. Upon release the Made In Streatham EP topped the iTunes Singer-Songwriter Chart, clocked up millions of plays on Spotify and has been receiving great radio support from Radio 2, BBC 6Music and BBC Introducing. The stand out single ‘London’s Blues’ reached the Spotify UK Viral Chart Top 20.
