Emma & Jolie are set to kick off 2021 in style with their forthcoming single – ‘How Do I Choose’ – a duet with Nashville-based singer-songwriter Josh Kerr. The track is set to be released on the 26th March, following a storming successful debut year for the duo.

Bright lights on the UK country scene, Emma & Jolie have today announced the upcoming release of their single ‘How Do I Choose’ – a duet with Josh Kerr – on the 26th March. The first of their music to be released in 2021, the single was produced by Josh Kerr remotely in Nashville and will be available everywhere digitally on Friday, March 26th 2021. The track follows the release of two immensely successful debut singles for Emma & Jolie in 2020. Championed by the likes of Entertainment Focus and Maverick Magazine, Emma & Jolie are set to break new ground with the new single that delves into the heartbreak and pain of deciding when to walk away from a relationship.

Pre-save ‘How Do I Choose’ now here.

‘How Do I Choose’ was written between the three artists over Zoom during the pandemic. Speaking of the track, Emma & Jolie described the inspiration as ‘based on trying to decide whether you should stay with someone who you know isn’t good for you, and feeling like you will lose whatever decision you make. It feels as if you are already heartbroken from what this person has put you through and the hurt that you’ve experienced, but leaving them will break your heart even more because you love them. It gets to the point where you have to decide if all the pain is worth it, and you know that you need to put yourself first, but you feel so strongly for that person and you can’t bear to think about your life without them.’ The three quickly bonded over the idea and the idea came to life over the course of their first co-write together.

Working with Josh had been a goal for the duo, who had come across his debut record How Do You Remember Me last year and they’ve since thought extremely highly of him as an artist and creator. ‘Working with Josh was a real privilege. His artistry is truly out of this world, and we have always admired his songwriting and capability to be able to convey such beauty through his lyricism. We came up with the idea for this song last year, and when we found out that we would be given the opportunity to write with Josh, we knew that he would be the perfect person to help us write it. We really enjoyed the writing session with Josh, we talked to Josh about the inspiration behind the song, and together we created How Do I Choose. We loved the idea of having the female & male perspective, and we really wanted Josh to feature on the song.’

It’s a song that the pair have been incredibly excited to release, kicking off 2021 in style, ‘The fact that this is now a reality is truly one of the greatest opportunities we’ve had in our career so far and we have been so excited to share this with everyone.’ The stunning and captivating new track is bound to rocket their career yet further – the sky is just the limit for Emma & Jolie.
