18-track sophomore album out now; Performing in six countries across two weeks in August

Support from Dan Smalley on all headline dates

Randall King is preparing for his return to the UK, Scandinavia, the Netherlands and Germany this August for a string of headlining shows and festival appearances, as part of the European extension of his Into The Neon Tour.

This follows the acclaimed release of the “outlandishly talented” (Country Music People) Texas singer-songwriter’s 18-track sophomore album Into The Neon, released in January via Warner Music Nashville and available to stream/download worldwide now.

Having built his reputation as a road warrior in the U.S., King spent much of the last year playing for international audiences, with an appearance at C2C Festival (2023) in London, returning later in the year to play sold-out, upgraded headline shows across the UK & Germany. Earlier this year, he played his biggest performances to date on the mainstage at C2C Festival in Berlin and Rotterdam, joining superstar headliners Brad Paisley and Old Dominion.

During his time in Berlin, King recorded performance videos for the album title track “Into The Neon” (watch here) and fan-favourite “I Could Be That Rain” (watch here). Fans who missed the Texas native in Berlin can catch him this summer headlining Sound of Nashville’s Open Air Festival in Cologne.

“I’m incredibly blessed to get to say that I tour the world” shared King. “It’s amazing to me that I get to go back for a third time to Europe because of you amazing fans!”

Making an impression during his debut in the Netherlands at C2C Rotterdam, Randall King has recently upgraded his venue in Amsterdam due to phenomenal demand and will now be performing at Melkweg Max. Support on all headline shows will come from Alaska-born, Louisiana-raised artist and songwriter Dan Smalley.

As he told Texas Monthly in February, “I’ve seen everywhere I can see in Texas, and I love it. But I’m looking at the whole world.”

With inspiration drawn from the hues of neon that backlit his budding career – inclusive of the glowing skies in the plains of West Texas where he was raised and the radiant signs of the nearly 150 honky tonks he performs in each year throughout the U.S. – Into The Neon is a humble recollection of King’s experiences and observations.

Co-produced by King alongside Jared ConradInto The Neon incorporates a unique blend of the influences from icons and modern masters alike who have inspired King’s sound; inclusive of the timeless country twang of George Strait and Keith Whitley, and the blood pumping, Y2K-era rhythms of Dierks Bentley and Gary Allan.

ABOUT RANDALL KING:

A West Texas native and self-described “old soul,” Warner Music Nashville’s Randall King has never wavered in his honky-tonk allegiance – in fact, he’s worn it like a badge of honor, growing with pride into a leading voice for today’s traditional country. Amassing over 300 Million streams with singles like “You In A Honky Tonk,” “Hey Cowgirl” and “Mirror, Mirror,” he’s kept the twang alive in country’s mainstream while also earning acclaim through deeply personal EPs like 2020’s Leanna, and his 2022 major label album debut, Shot Glass – which landed on both Whiskey Riff’s Top 40 Country Albums of 2022 and Billboard’s All Genre 50 Best Albums of 2022 (So Far).

Schooled on icons like Keith Whitley, George Strait, Alan Jackson and John Anderson, but inspired by modern masters like Dierks Bentley and Gary Allan, King first built an independent, grass-roots following on the strength of his electrifying live shows – each one a harrowing mix of rowdy roughnecking, romantic tenderness and breathtaking emotion – never asking for permission to explore his creative vision.

He has since gone on to headline all across the U.S., the U.K. and Europe, where he continues to play nearly 150 shows a year and hone his craft where it matters most.

Named a Country Artist to Watch by everyone from Pandora and Country Now to Music Mayhem Magazine, his sophomore major label album Into the Neon, available now, takes that craft to the next level, as King’s neo-traditional roots meet the blood-pumping rhythms and sharp, arena-sized grooves of Y2K-era country and beyond. Co-produced by King and Jared Conrad, and featuring 18 tracks, punchy sounds exist side-by-side with timeless swagger, further blurring the line between yesteryear and today – even as King renews his forever-country vows.
